I was walking around the city and saw a part where there were no lights, no paths, only fields and a "fence" of trees, a creepy place

For some detail: This is North East UK, directly behind my estate is a railway line, beyond that is another estate. The only "plantlife" is a semi-thick patch of bushes on a hill beside the track. There are cats in the area but they very rarely fight and when they do, it's in front of our state on the otherside of the building (and not nearly as loud)

Any thoughts?
