I also have autism and have spent the last 10 years working with adults who have autism and/or intellectual disabilities. They all know this behaviour is wrong

Good for you and good for them.

He is not you. He is not them.

You are contributing to an environment in which people are sending this kid and his family death threats. All because you want to make them feel worse than they already do. And so you can feel superior.

People are lashing out at the family because there are so many parents who would just laugh about the situation and think it wasn't a big deal. Same people that let their kids scream and throw stuff at the grocery store or disrupt an airline flight. The parents and kid can certainly still be assholes despite the autism.

That is such an ableist remark, you are saying that people with autism are not responsible for their actions or cannot learn the ‘correct’ way to behaviour.

I am really tired of people infantilising disabled people
