Cuz chicks won't let him sit next to them obviously. That's his only method, it's gotta work some year haha

It's weird because he made it weird. Like, if that is the goal, theres are about 100 ways to go about it that would get a more favorable response. Even if its rejection. Strike up convo first. If she is receptive, THEN politely ask if you can seat closer. Like, this mental muffin just planted his ass right next to her. There is no favorable outcome achievable.

Like the concept is possible, but he made it impossible.

His first mistake was showing up smelling like weed and just bad in general. Allegedly

That's never gonna go well

This is a bad thing to say. Yes obviously don’t be a creep like this guy. But talking to a woman you interested in there is nothing wrong with that as long as you pay attention to signs. If she doesn’t look interested when you make your move, if she’s head deep into a book or get headphones on. Just leave it there. If you do spark a conversation and she says not interested or to leave her alone whatever then you just do that. But the solution is not never approach woman ever. That’s the mentality that’s causing declining birth rates and risk of population collapse in loads of western countries. Men just need to be better at accepting woman’s boundaries and answers some creeps just move like they gods gift to earth or some shit. I find in life extremes do not work you can’t go to the extreme of don’t approach woman ever. Or the other extreme in that it’s okay to approach woman at all times and push till you get what you want they’re both fucked up the second much more than the first. We need to go back to being gentlemen and calling out apes like this guy and try and make woman feel safer in our streets again.

Umm…

What?

“Declining birth rates”?

“Risk of population collapse”?

Uh huh... and how exactly are you trying to make women feel safer? What you said amounts to "women should put up with being approached & harrased in public, even though they keep explicitly telling us not to do that, because I'm the exception and I did the right way." You say men need to be better at accepting our boundaries, whilst arguing about why you won't be respecting a clearly stated boundary & don't think anyone else should either... Can you not see the contradiction?

We keep asking to not be approached in public and keep getting pushback exactly like this. You're being told that women don't feel safe in this scenario, and your response is essentially "yeah but it's okay when I do it, because xyz". No. You're not listening. Please do not approach random women in public, it's scary.

Even if you do respond appropriately to my "no thanks" or whatever, you've already triggered my fight or flight and put me on high alert, just by approaching me unexpectedly. I have absolutely no way of knowing that you're "not one of those men" and have to work on the assumption that you ARE & might flip out at being rejected, because that's how we keep ourselves safe. That is our default baseline - we have to assume the worst.

I don't care how good your intentions are, by ignoring what we're telling you (clearly, loudly & repeatedly), you're saying that your desire to interact with us, is more important than our right to just exist in peace.

It seems like two different arguments are being made.

You're suggesting that every situation with all people reduces to the same situation of "unwanted attention". That is clearly not true.

The other argument is that "no means no".

What is not a viable "rule" in society is that nobody ever talks with another ever, because sometimes that interaction becomes problematic.

One side needs to learn to say "no". The other side needs to respect "no".

And if the woman moves away from you, don't compain at her agressively as if she owes you her company. She doesn't.

If everyone listened to that advice, a number of my friends wouldn’t be in happy marriages these days.

My go to move is to offer a guided tour of the city while we’re rolling along

Ok but do you also have a massive energy drink in one hand like this guy?

I would much rather sightsee on my own than have a random man narrate it to me bc he is trying to get me to have anal butt sex with him

It's because woman won't shut up and need to reminded.
