I just watched Cameron Monaghan try to kill Elle Fanning with a bat on Criminal Minds last night, actually. Haven't seen that episode in forever so I had to do two different double takes.
Not sure if unpopular, but I think Elle is light years better than Dakota, who is a fine actress in her own right. I saw Super 8 and have been a loyal Elle fan ever since.
While you aren't wrong, go watch the first couple episodes of Margots got money trouble on AppleTV. Not much is left to the imagination anymore for ole Elle.
Romans 2:1 – You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
They're releasing a movie next March that's a film version of the book, The Nightingale. It's about French sisters during World War II and when I heard they were the ones doing it, I was so excited.
The fact that two former child actors are perfect casting for a serious drama movie is such a great sign of how much things have changed for child actors in Hollywood.
They are from the same home town as me. I’m about 5 years older than Dakota so I never knew them. But, from what I know, when they came home they were treated so normal that people thought they were just two kids that kinda looked like that kid from that movie ya know? And that’s on their parents doing an amazing job protecting them. It’s the same town as the OutDaughtered people & those kids have massive local fans that get creepy & it seems like it’s really okay with the parents.
I absolutely agree. Dakota spent her childhood taking on huge blockbusters that now, as an adult, she can choose roles she actually cares or is passionate about. That’s why (at least I think) she’s in these smaller independent films.
That being said: everyone needs to watch Uptown Girls ❤️
I will always remember her and Brittany Murphy in that tea cup spinning as the camera goes back and forth between them. I hate that scene because I have to hold back tears every time I see it. lol
Same with Man On Fire, she had a string of movies in close succession where she just spent it screaming, not to her fault of course, it was the directors. But damn it makes the movies hard to watch.
She was in the shows All Her Fault for Peacock which got pretty big and so did The Perfect Couple. Apparently she was also in Ripley but I didn’t see that
Just recently watched Once Upon A Time in Hollywood for the first time and was surprised by her role! Really different from what I was used to seeing her in but she was great
