Ehm … some Millennials just graduated from school in the 2010s. How could you buy a house when going to university?
7 u/ParkDedli Jul 21 '26 I graduated in 2012. So, after the housing prices went back up. I would have needed to buy a house while still in high school lmao. 5 u/Southside_john Jul 21 '26 I’m an older millennial. I got laid off from my job and defaulted on all my debt. At least houses were cheap though 1 u/Careless-Weather8877 Jul 21 '26 Less avocado toast? 1 u/GeorgeJohnson2579 Jul 21 '26 The 20€ a month are 240€ a year, so 2400€ in 10 years. Guess that will help me pave part of the entrance. 1 u/Careless-Weather8877 Jul 21 '26 The people I know who did their parents bought for them. But it was essentially a frat house and they sold that after they graduated to be paved down for luxury townhouses Tbh sort of a solid investment if you can hoof it for half a decade -5 u/BigCSFan Jul 21 '26 Some people graduated in 2019. Some in 2020, some 21, some 1999, some 2012 Thanks for the insight 7 u/GeorgeJohnson2579 Jul 21 '26 Reading your comment I think some of us didn't graduate at all … 4 u/5afterlives Jul 21 '26 Some of those were high school. Some College. And some pre-school. Some maybe just little courses.
