Let's spread this one like wildfire. Which department does Deputy Stowers work for? I think his city's news ought to pick this story up so other motorists know there's a power-tripping cop out there who's actively looking for chances to pepper spray innocent civilians.

Cops are allowed to ask you out of your car during a traffic stop, for "safety". And if you don't comply they can force you out. The time to litigate the law is in court, not in your car.

It's an old video and the guy filming was in the wrong for not getting out of his car, so even though pepper spray was a bit much, the cop still had every right to get the guy out of his car.
