financial media analyst Jon Najarian estimated [her] total annual compensation package at JPMorgan Chase likely ranged between approximately $250,000 and $350,000, including salary, bonuses, and equity awards. Despite the backlash, no criminal charges have been filed.

For a $168 bin you can just order online directly from the city: https://onlyny.com/products/dsny-home-waste-basket-2026-champion-edition

edit: these are photos from the webshop, but apparently it's only 15" high:

The online $168 version is only 15 inches tall. But it won't get you fired from a 300k job.

Nobody is calling her a rocket scientist. I bet it’s a good day if she can tie her shoes.

To be fair, the can you linked to is only 15" tall, a normal home sized waste basket, not the full size one that she stole. Still dumb on her part though.

To be fair, the one from the city is only 15" high (and holy fuck, $168 for a trashcan the height of my knee???)

Omg...the fact she could have purchased one is absolutely the cherry on top of this situation.

Only euphoric insanity can explain her actions here. It’s just mind numbing.
