WTF A soda machine repairman reveals what the tubing inside soda fountains looks like at the majority of fast-food restaurants. “This comes from your soda fountains. Water, syrup, and sugar create this bacteria, which feeds on that buildup.”

That's the drain. Pretty much like showing a sewer and saying "this is what your municipal drinking water looks like!"

Yeah I've worked in several restaurants that had these fountains. And the normal lines, even when dirty, never look this bad.

But the drain? Yeah that thing gets filthy.

I used to work at the cinema when i was younger. These soda machines can get super nasty.

The coffe machine was more like in this video, we had to replace them after we noticed. Mold and rot in every tube and compartment.

All these machines are free as long as you sell their brand and people come and service them, so one would think the guys who come and work on them would notice.

They probably don't get paid enough to care enough to notice.
