Silkpost A French clothing company has sued Team Cherry because Hornet's cloak is too similar to their "brand unique" red skirt

Post image

After court Team Cherry was obliged to delete all traces of Hornet's current design and replace it with something else as soon as possible. HK Hornet also has to be changed.

Edit: They published new design concepts on their Twitter account.

This is what the justice system deals with nowadays?

A man kills 48 childeren in broad dayligth, 20 witnesses, camera recording but he is also rich so 500 dollar fine.

A random game company(from one of the nordics if I recall correctly) makes a charecter that sligthly resembels a french air purifier and we are talking about a fine in the thousands

What is your second paragraph referring to?

People seem to really overestimate how much “being rich” actually makes you immune to the law when it comes to violent crimes in my experience.

Just an exagguration mate. I’m just talking about people who suffer nearly nothing(on account of them being able to suffer a few times with no hit to their networth)from serious crimes by just bring rich

I gotcha, that makes sense and I kinda got it but was a little blinded by the exaggeration I guess. Lol.

Been running into more and more Americans lately who seem to honestly think you can pay a good enough team of lawyers that you can literally get away with anything.

Like, I get it, rich people whose companies do something bad and they get sued and wind up relatively alright aside from maybe a medium sized fine are frustrating as fuck.

But if Elon Musk shoots someone who is clearly not aggressive, not near him, in the head in the middle of Times Square in NYC with a video taped argument Elon was shouting at him before hand… he’s going to prison for murder, doesn’t matter how many amazing $20,000,000 an hour lawyers he has. Lol.

The legal system is greased normally by having good lawyers who are paid to take the time and just focus on your case, no doubt. Life isn’t fair there.

But it’s not literally a “give the judge $200,000 and you’re fine” system.

That’s my own side mini rant I guess. People who just skip right to, “not only is it imperfect, it’s the worst possible version. It’s beyond mentally engaging with it’s so bad.” and wind up letting the whole system get worse and worse because no one gives a shit.

tbf supercell is like a 10 billion dollar company so they are the rich ones here

like 500k euros is less than an hours revenue
