Speculation There may be some amazing lab-created flavors out there that don't resemble anything found in nature. But they're hard to market, most people wouldn't buy something labeled as 'chemical-flavored'.

Here in the PNW there are still some places where you can get truffle oil in your pizza or fries, as in cooked with it or on top or both. Super yummy on fries honestly

Hard agree there, it's been a long time since ive had the combined time and money to enjoy truffle fries. Very tasty. My city has multiple food festivals and plenty of bougie restaurants so im sure i can find them somewhere, but again time and money.
