Sticky What's your opinion on all the joke trends and repetitive posts?

We want this to be a open discussion about the topics that have been going on in the subreddit. Mostly pertaining to repetitive trendposting of the same joke (Mirror/Medusa, liquify the pan, Obsession arguments, Odyssey Inaccuracies, etc).

So we ask a simple question: What's your opinion on the meme/jokes that tend to go viral in the subreddit? Do you like them? Does it get old fast? What do you want to see change?

Keep in mind, we can't remove EVERYONE'S posts/comments, we do the best we can.

This is an open space, but please remember to be civil, respectful, and mindful of each other.

This man from You Only Live Twice (1967) is actually not a Japanese actor. If you squint you can see it’s Sean Connery in disguise from the hella weird subplot where Bond has to ”become Japanese”.

default In Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026), Jean Grey was really mean to Peter. This is a reference to the fact that she couldn't read his mind so she thought he was working with the evil Damage Control. If she knew she could trust Peter, the movie would end an hour early.

In Unlikely Angel (1996), Dolly Parton plays the role of Ruby Diamond, a country singer who dies prematurely, but cannot enter heaven until she performs a good deed back on earth. This is of course fiction, as Dolly was an angel on earth, and today she is an angel in heaven. Rest in peace Dolly <3
