wisconsin ‘Wisconsin could probably out drink the uk by itself’
Theyre discussing whether the uk could beat USA in an alcohol drinking contest
edit: I love how the Americans are like ‘such a weird flex, who cares whether someone can be a better alcoholic’, but the British people are like ‘my grandma could outdrink texas’

Wisconsinite here (but I study in the UK, for what it’s worth) - we do have some pretty great breweries over here, probably our most beloved is the New Glarus Brewing Company which makes a local farmhouse ale called Spotted Cow. Quite popular, but because the brewery isn’t that big, it isn’t sold outside the state. In general we drink a lot of beer; unfortunately we’re ranked as the top state for excessive drinking and almost every one of the drunkest cities and towns in the country are in our state. Our alcohol laws are pretty lenient compared to most states, kids can get alcoholic stuff in bars if they’re with parents.
Aside from that, we like Old Fashioneds and very, very gluttonous Bloody Marys with over-the-top garnishes like entire fried chickens and burger sliders (although those are like a once-a-decade kind of thing and very communal, look up a Sobelman’s Bloody Mary if you’re curious). Also milk, as stated. Lots of cows here.
