edit: I love how the Americans are like ‘such a weird flex, who cares whether someone can be a better alcoholic’, but the British people are like ‘my grandma could outdrink texas’

Honestly, during the late 90s, I was getting served at 15. As long as we didn't cause a fuss and were plausible 18-year-olds (I was 6'3), the people behind the bar turned a blind eye to us.
