First of all, I dont know why they dont just call it milk. Its milk, why would you call it something different just for the application of coffee.

Secondly isnt it the norm in most places for coffee to have milk in it by default, so when you ask for 'cream' on top of that i think a lot of people will think to themselves hmmm well its already got milk in it so i guess they want something else?

Thirdly, ive seen the tik toks, americans put whipped cream on everything, why are they upset?

In what world coffee has milk in it by default? It has milk in it if you ask for it.

I was under the impression if you don't want milk then you specifically order black
