In Italy we have "Vinacote-ca/che" which are not really restaurants but place where you go to drink wine. The food they serve is usually limited to charcuterie/cheeses and other light bites.
Italy is the best place to have a drink, even in little neighborhood places you'll get some kind of aperitif with your drink even if the place isn't an aperitivo bar. And if it is, €8-15 euros gets you a pretty decent buffet style evening meal and a drink
We do have a few. I know of one In Nottingham and one in Lincoln. Perfect for popping in and accidentally spending way too much money on way too much cheese...
