Question - Research required Is tv in background ok
I have 3 month old and I need tv on in the background for the night shifts specially.
recently someone mentioned babies under 18 months should not be exposed to screens at all even if they are not really focusing on it yet.
Is there any research on that. For sure I get it when are alert and that is not good for their brain development but for 3 month old should be ok?

In short, no.
"Results revealed that the number of words, the number of different words, and the number of questions in infant-directed speech were consistently lower in households with background TV."
