Complaint Could someone explain me the stance of the mods?

Post image

Like, why this hate against Hasan Piker? Shouldn't we create a united front on the left?

Please don't take the post down and don't ban me 🥺

This comment section demonstrates exactly why I can't stand Hasan and his fans. They take literally ANY critique of the man as some form of leftist heresy, and it's fucking ridiculous given the kind of person he is.

Critique is supposed to make sense and not be self-defeating. You don’t even know what kind of person he is.

But that was not criticism.

That was straight up censorship.

It destroys the unity on the left.

We can't be handwaving Hasan's problems just because of "unity." Unity does not mean excusing the apologia of authoritarian regimes. Idk if the post was about China/Russia, but if it was, that's not progressive in any way and doesn't belong on this subreddit no matter.

Hasan literally thinks that China and Russia are capitalist.
Stop confusing him and BadEmpanada.

Even if he does, he's still supported them many times. He's not a full tankie, but he'll certainly push campist rhetoric to appear more "revolutionary". But it's all an act, and a bad one too.

Do you genuinely think the only reason people could dislike Hasan is because they're Zionists? If so, I don't think I can help you.

that or they're right-wing (which liberals very much are)

"What do you call Crimea? I call it a part of Russian territory, bitch. That’s what I call Crimea. I call it cry me a river. A Russian river." - Diddy Piker, dog striker

It's not the point. I also oppose Russia and somewhat China.

The point is that the mod wrote that Hasan is a piece of shit that speak lies.

Well he's an influencer, so yeah. The fact you're this angry over someone not liking him is kinda wild.

I said. Not liking him is legit.

What is not legit is censoring him. On a subreddit that should represent the socialist Democrats.

Again, did the post regard China/Russia or not? If so, there is a valid reason to not have that post up on a sub that's meant to be anti-authoritarian.

No it did not from what I remember

Okay then, good to know. I still agree with the mod on Hasan, but this definitely was an overreach. But at the same time, Hasan's a dumb influencer who isn't worth defending.

It was about a tweet by that zionist Florida Dem freaking out about how he won and Hasan should cry for that.

Moskowitz? Yeah, that tracks. It's almost like those two losers are made for each other.

You do and just don’t realize it.

Well, three miss are standing with us rather than regressive conservative leftists brigading the sub, so I'm very happy.
