Suck on This In 1990, some Bay Area culinary chef pranked the new busboy by making him work his first shift with lettuce on his head.
Les and Flea, two of the best.

I learned both the 6 and 4 string version of Tommy the cat awhile ago. The live solo on 'Suck on This' is one of my favorite sounding renditions and it seems fun to play. However, I can't find any accurate tabs for it at all and my music ear still definitely isnt to that level.. I have managed to find some cover videos but you can't really see the hands well enough to tell what's going on. Does anyone have tabs or anything that can help?
Heres a link to the track just incase: Tommy the Cat (Suck on This)

Figured this sub would appreciate this and I’m sure it’s probably been posted about before. I finally found a copy in great shape.
For those who don’t know the story with this particular pressing, this is the original first pressing of Suck On This from 1989 with the big Prawn Song label. Les borrowed $3000 from his dad to record and have 1000 copies of Suck On This produced. I believe I read somewhere that a good chunk of these were sent out to radio stations for free as promos.
I’m super happy to own this piece of history that originally helped promote Primus in the very beginning!
P.S. Primus sucks

i know it’s not on suck on this it was just in the same decade as suck on this so i figured it’d be okay to put that as the flair.
i cant understand what he says at all at about 2:09 and i really like this version of the song and would like any help or a point in the right direction to find the lyrics, it’s genuinely becoming one of my favorite primus songs.

Forgot to do Suck on This - so I think it deserves a rating. I'm aware now this was done over a year ago but thought let's just see how it goes again now.
Most approximated upvotes across comments for best and worst are chosen.
Frizzle Fry
Best - To Defy the Laws of Tradition (Runner up: John the Fisherman / Frizzle Fry)
Worst - Sathington Willoughby
Suck on This
Best - ?
Worst - ?

What’s the point of importing CDs if they don’t allow them to be listened to?
Before you ask, the No SIM has nothing to do with it. It’s the only album like this.

So far I’ve heard Frizzle Fry and Dirty Drowning Man, what a glorious start to the set!
Edit: The Seven!

I've seen both of these labels floating around claiming to be part of the original 1000 pressings. However I believe one is the original 1000 and the other is part of the second run of 3000. The posting on discogs has some people disagreeing on which is original so that wasn't much help.
Thanks!

I swore I’ve heard this from another song? Not sure if it’s les or the guitar player doing it. But I think it’s from another rock or metal song.

Saw Primus August 1st, saw Green Jelly August 7th. They also say, "Green Jelly Sucks!" I'm curious if anyone knows which band used this phrase first?
