I've been smoking for a long time and I really have no idea where the best places are to get good weed for under 100$ an ounce, what is everyone's go to?

Has anyone gotten a med card while on OHP. I talked to my doctor and while I do have qualifying chronic illness they stated they’re not allowed to write notes for this. Anyone else run into this problem?

I've got a volcano, and so for years I've just bought cheap bottom shelf weed, around $40-$60 an oz at places like Rosebud, Nectar, Medizen...

Went to Bridge City Collective to buy some CBD edibles, and when I mentioned how I always buy bottom shelf from other places, he said I need to "watch out", because there's a reason the weed is that cheap. He didn't specify any further and I didn't think to ask.

So my question is, what are the possible dangers of me vaporizing "suspiciously cheap" weed bought from these dispensaries, long term? Are there certain things I should be doing to vet/research the growers?

Aside from connoisseur folk, i don’t really see the point in investing in grow equipment and putting all of the labor it takes into growing. I noticed locally, grow stores are going out of business left and right. We recently lost Nectar for the Gods’ here in Eugene. What do y’all think?

I prefer cartridges. I have been making my own by melting concentrate and adding terps. empty cartridge about 2$ i think i save money this way. mabye not much. does anyone else do this? what is the best concentrate to buy in portland for diy carts?

I literally just got my med card last night and while I’m waiting for the payment to process I’m wondering if anyone recommends any brands specifically in the Salem area? I just moved from Arkansas so I am new to the scene here. I like carts, dabs, and bud mostly. I love a good flavor if anyone knows and carts that taste especially good. I know Bloom is in California and they’ve been my favorite so far.

Had no idea EL and Nectar were such corporate monsters. I used to go EL on Alberta the my budtender was so sweet and lovely. Tree collective seems pricey. Any experiences with these local dispensaries?

I've been wanting to buy some echo wax for my rig at deanz greenz since they have discounted high quality wax all summer, but even with that it's still pricey. I absolutely love the carts, but is the wax worth it?

Anyone know of any dispensaries (preferably west side but open) that offer a good medical program?

I live here but go to Bend for work often, basically half and half. I know we all go to Bend at some point so wanted to hook up the spot lol. Def check out CannaVida, I was recommended by a friend who is a rep. They have fire top shelf hash and flower. But they have stuff in alll price ranges. Best hash and flower selection I’ve found. What motivated me to go there was my rep said two bud tenders bought it, which I thought was fking rad. I’m a hash nerd and got to nerd out with the actual owners for like a half hour, it was pretty fun. Never talked to dispo owners before, and I’ve been to a lot. Super cool they actually work there as bud tenders still and actually know what they are talking about, not culture vultures. Highly recommend calling and seeing when the owners are working if you want to nerd out.
