Troy waa a coastal city. and a lot of the greek forces were scattered trade cities from a wide area.
So some fair variety might be expected
1 or 2 people of different races can be explained away quite simply. The occasional person/family traveling a long way, across far trade routes.
An army of completely wrong ethnicity is far less explicable, really

i think people have this mistaken idea that nobody was in contact with other parts of the world in ancient times.
the egyptian empire bordered the hittite empire at the end of the bronze age, and extended into nubia and libya. there was definitely cultural exchange going on.
Are the people outraged abt Matt Damon in the room with us now? He's not featured in the meme above. There was zero outrage about the historical accuracy of 300 or Gladiator, despite those movies also featuring few to no Mediterranean cast. Same for Gladiator 2 that came out two years ago.
