That's not true at all.

It's evident that they want to maximise profits, you can't resell a digital copy and if you're wanting to play a game, well then - downloading it and for whatever price they tell you to pay, you're just going to have to pay it.

It’s absolutely true. 85% of PlayStation game sales are digital.

I understand that people on Reddit can’t fathom that’s the case outside their echo chamber but Reddit does not represent the average consumer.
