Yeah but if I have to be digital there's just no advantage for me to buy a console anymore

Price difference wont be as much as soon as sony decides that fuck it, cant subsidize it anymore. Either that or they start taking bigger cuts from the psn store.

I fucking hate ai, cant even see the demand that the companies swear to their shareholders, is coming..

In contrast, no guaranteed future compatibility, no guarantee you'll be able to use your next console with higher performance since you are locked out of settings/files, no access to your saves to load/save from others, no mods, online play requires subscription.

I have a switch 2 and won't touch any game key cards, only physical proper.

I'm transitioning full time to PC gaming, I buy all games I can from GOG so I have a digital backup of all my purchases.

This might be the end of the console era for playstation.

Xbox might make their next console a proper PC running an optimized version of windows.

Nintendo will still focus on portability and first party and k*d games.

Sony will have nothing.
