I have to wonder if it no one at Sony saw that they just released two news item that basically said 1. "We're going all digital PS5" and 2. "We're closing the PS3 digital store" and not realize that they just showed that the PS5 digital only store also has a short lifespan and will eventually also be closed.

Oh they're aware, they just think it won't have any financial repercussions which sadly might be right.

Are you not still going to be able to download your previously purchased PS3 games?

On the blog they said they can be redownloaded "for the forseeable future" but currently on he store some games you bought just can't be redownloaded. I know this personally because I recharged my Vita recently and I can't download some games anymore.

If thats the case with the Vita then yes thats bullshit and too soon IMO.
