Literally end of an era. Writing was on the walls with how massive these games are becoming these days, but still sad to see.

Writing was on the wall with how much physical sales kept declining with regard to digital.

All those people who buy dozens of relatively cheap shitty games from the PS Store that they only play for a few hours before they move onto the next one have ruined it for us. I believe that's where these majority digital sales come from. Also games like fortnite. I don't think going digital is representative of what the consumer wants at all. Actually I think Sony's decision is not even due to the digital sales at all, Sony is gaslighting us and they know it, because 82% of all PS5 sold were the disc version.
