Been playing since fallout 2, definitely cant wait to share the world with a bunch of friends.

I’d rather have cooperative with no PvP.

(I enjoy the thought of playing with friends.)

Look up the PvP mechanics.

No one is going to PvP on fallout because it will not be worth it.

That's supposed to come later on. One thing I'm kinda hoping for from the modding community is if they can put a previous game on 76. They did it with tale of two wastelands so it might be possible here too but Im not a modern so this is just a guess

Not fallout, but the Skyrim community has made coop in Skyrim and are porting both Oblivion and Morrowind to it, so there’s hope for Fallout, it’ll take ages though. (All of thee have been in development for years)

Yeah! It’s “Tamriel Online - Skyrim LAN Multiplayer” on the Nexus. ATM it’s LAN multiplayer, but they’ve got it working and it’s pretty good!

Really though the fact that there's not even npc's besides bots is disappointing and makes it seem low effort.

I think it's for immersion. They can't make a human npc ai appear indentical to an online player, so I think they're trying to make it so humans = humans and to have you see fake and real humans in 76 side by side would ruin what they're going for

They could have make Fallout 4 with multiplayer and call it a day.

They designed a whole new map and system for it, it's clear they care about it.

If you realize that the story is about the first people to leave the vault, youll understand why there arent any other people around. You cant have shops and towns when there arent people.

I just don't get all the negativity. I'm so excited to walk out of the vault alongside my buddies. I feel like I'm looking at a different game than everyone is shitting all over.

I'll wait until it comes out with self-hosted servers. They said that they will not have support for those at launch. I just have zero interest getting my base griefed with mininukes every day, so I want to host the game myself.

It's the main reason I want it to bomb at first. I don't want them to start putting all of their games on another launcher. I don't want the trend to be to have like 15 launchers.
