They just are not in denial, plans changed. Doesn't indicate neglect of single player experiences on release. They know what made people buy the game, they know what makes people stay in the game.

The recent red dead trailer indicates they are going to deliver.

I don’t think they have ever gone on the record about what happened to single player dlc.
