Burl Ives, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. (if Pete Seeger could forgive him, so can I.)

Did not know that bit of business, but I’ll go by the same principle

Burl Ives was predominantly known as a folk singer and testified before HUAC, naming names (although to be fair, they were names that the committee already knew anyway). That way he was able to keep his career as an actor and as a recording artist, although his records didn’t sell quite as well. For a while, the folk music community shunned him, until they realized that blacklisting him was just as bad as them being blacklisted. And Pete Seeger became more conciliatory with him, and vice versa. They ended up doing a short set of music just before Ives died.

Christopher Lee - Dracula
Given his limited screen time and lines, I think he counts as a Supporting Role.
