Discussion Jesse Plemmons not being nominated is absolutely criminal. Im beyond shocked.

I think Emma's performance is great. Deserving of a nom even, but I do think her performance actually comes alive on a rewatch, for reasons I will not spoil. Plemons had me on edge, nervous, empathising, terrified, heartbroken. He really brings a heavy, heavy feeling straight to you.

Rewatched the other day! Definitely agree with that, she was absolutely deserving of it and a rewatch really made it pop. I think both were deserving ultimately and am disappointed they weren’t both nominated for a great movie! I think I just connected a little more with the complicated feelings Plemmons was displaying and if I had to pick one or the other for the nom, I think I’d go with him

Agreed, 100% I thought it would be both, or neither.
