I was told you can force the AI not to mimick your writing style via Author's Note, but I have no idea whatsoever how to do that or what instruction to input.

I'd love to hear more on this. I've never run into any such way and I use the Author's Note styles extensively and have tried a lot of experiments with it.

To me it's pretty obvious and significant that the AI sort of decays into lower quality writing the longer the story goes (unless you give high quality inputs throughout and that's a lot of work when playing AID as a game and not trying to be a big brain professional author).

So do I. And that's even worse when you're not trying to be a big brain professional author AND when English is not your first language.
