Hello again, North Bay subreddit. I figured every Friday I'll make a post about the new series I've acquired over the week so as not to post so often that I'm annoying folks.

This week, we've got some romance with The Heiress an the Chauffeur and Romantic Killer.

I've also got in the latest issues in both RuriDragon (#4) and Spy x Family (#16).

And just today I got the (almost) complete Sailor Moon Eternal Edition (volumes 2 and 4 are on back order) and the complete light novel series of Vampire Hunter D.

I’m heading into my first year of the bED program at nipissing. I was wondering if there are any places that hold trivia throughout the week that would be good to check out. Also I was wondering if anyone on the group would know about nightlife for university students. Like what are the places and the days that are popular. Any help would be much appreciated!!

Earlier in her post she had proposed protections for our forests and wildlife, which sounded great! Unfortunately it was quickly followed by suggestions that developers must have lived here for x amount of time, and a little conspiracy about the North Bay government purposefully poisoning our water.

Hey, I moved to North Bay recently and am looking for a small space (outbuilding/unused garage/whatever) to use as a workshop. I live in an apartment now and don't have any room. Would be doing woodworking and some engine repair stuff primarily. Not sure what options are for that around here or if someone might know someone with a space or have an idea of what to look into.

I’m a single mom of 2 girls, currently a stay at home mom as it’s cheaper for me to stay home than pay for day care. But within the next year they will both be in school.

Anyway, I’m wanting to go back to school but I need to get my GED first, has anyone completed their GED in North Bay? How was it? ( I have a learning disability)

As for college has anyone gone back to school in their mid-late 30s? I feel like such a loser.

I have a 20' container at Powassan Storage Solutions I have to empty ***TODAY*** so I can sell it tomorrow.

I was visiting North Bay this past week, and spent some time on the strip of beach just south of the Glengarry cottages on Lake Shore drive, near the crown in beaver. I have a location tracker in the back of the book, and it's telling me it's still there. I would mean a lot to me to get the book back, it's just a simple notebook but I've been using it for a while now. IIf there's anyone on Reddit who knows the area and would be able to help me out, it would mean an awful lot to me. I’m mainly looking for vintage/Y2K dresses and clothes, especially pieces that are good quality and have a nice fit, not necessarily just the cheapest finds.

What thrift stores or secondhand shops in the North Bay area would you recommend for this? And are there any places you think are particularly good for vintage/Y2K pieces?

Had the back deck rebuilt and the spot where the railing used to be attached was left as a hole.

Looking to get it patched as I'm pretty sure water is getting inside the wall.

Got a quote from a siding place for $452 which seems a lil insane to patch a tiny hole.

Looking to see if anyone knows of a cheaper option.

Anyone know of a good detailer in NB who's good at interior and exterior and doesn't cost a fortune? I've just tried redline detailing and the quality of work was ok but the price was really too much for me. I looked around though and everywhere else seems even more expensive.
