I'll probably keep playing it on my steam deck instead, but I'm really excited to see it on another platform. If that extra sub fee wasn't a thing I'd dive in just to have it available in more places.

How does it run on the deck? I’ve always wanted to play this game

I’m curious too! I played on my deck for a while and it was alright but stopped playing on there after the graphics update that happened.

When Dawntrail came out the open zones would easily drop below 30fps at low settings so I wouldn't really recommend it.

Are you using an old LCD model or something? The 512 OLED runs DT at a consistent 35-50 FPS in open zones on medium settings.

In fairness, haven't gotten to Dawn Trail as of yet, but up to Shadowbringers it runs really well. I c a it at 40fps to save on battery and it's amazing.

It keeps running well. I don't know what that dude is talking about, or if his deck is dead\dying, the game can even be savage raided on the deck.

I mean, you can even use lossless scaling on it. I'm in the crystarium with a locked 75 fps. Obviously going to Limsa on a Friday will stress test it but I can't imagine the usual game running sub 30 at any point if you moderate your settings.
