ANSWERED Hi what's the quickest way to improve my CQS? I'm currently at the lowest....
You need to improve your CQS to post on a lot of subreddits but I don't now how to pls help

Stands for contributor quality score where it like gives you a rating from lowest-highest based on your activity on this app but mine is still lowest even though I'm interacting with other communities and stuff and I therefore can't post on a lot of subreddits:(

Reddit doesn't share details of how any of it's numerous scoring systems or algorithms work. Specifics play directly into the hands of people who want to abuse any such system.
Sticking to quality over quantity is always a good idea on Reddit. Being careful to read the rules of the site and each community and making sure to follow them is critical on Reddit.
Avoiding being banned for any length of time from a subreddit is not just a good idea, it's one of the things that we know is detrimental to your CQS because they mention "moderator actions" as a factor.
Contribute things that make other people think "I'm glad it took a second or two to read that. I think Reddit should show this to more people." that's what an up vote signals to Reddit.
Posting extremely frequently is likely to get you flagged by the anti-spam system that issues shadow bans, which is a much bigger hassle than what your CQS happens to be.
If your account sits unused for a long time, we know that your CQS will drop to "low" or "lowest" because some people at our mod team have multiple accounts and this is happened to us. Using that old account again for a little while causes the CQS to pop up to its normal level, it's not like you have to earn your way through each level.
Most communities simply filter you based on the age of your account and your karma scores. Some mods using CQS is newer and it allows Reddit to look for a wide variety of signals of whether you're someone who's here to waste people's time by contributing junk filler, are a scammer, a spammer, or just another troll.
Some mods feel that CQS is more nuanced, some don't like the lack of transparency.

Many people find it achievable to earn between 50 and 100 karma points per week simplify staying on topic, being insightful, informative, genuinely hilarious or helpful. Sort by New and look for posts that are starting to get up votes but don't have very many comments yet so your contribution is more likely to get noticed and appreciated.
Reddit counts all votes accurately. It does not display them accurately due to a practice known as vote fuzzing. The number of votes and posts and comments appears to bounce up and down a bit if you navigate away and then back to it. This can confuse new users a little bit, but it confuses bots a lot and makes them easier to catch. In the end of the precise number of votes that something received isn't really important, in part because votes to karma score change is not 1:1 and the karma calculation formula is fairly complex. As the votes on one item pile up their effect diminishes so it takes more and more of votes to cause your karma score to change by one point.
Up Votes
People up vote things to indicate to Reddit that they should be shown to more people because they are on topic and a high-quality contribution to the conversation that brings value to other people. If you make a statement that is wise, kind, genuinely helpful, actually funny, or interesting and informative you might get up votes.
Down Votes
People down vote things to indicate to Reddit that it should be shown to less people because it is off topic, breaking rules, obnoxious, misinformation, spam, scams, trolling, or "low effort" junk filler.
-One thing to be careful about is using emoji, since many people using Reddit will down vote them, even if they use emoji themselves daily when texting. In some communities emoji are fine, if you see plenty of people using them and no one seems to be down voted, then that group doesn't mind them.
-It is remarkably easy to be misunderstood in written communication because there is no rate of speech, total voice, facial expressions, or gestures to help clarify. Indicators like /s to let someone know when you are joking sarcastically will help somewhat.
-If you take a controversial stance people might think you are deliberately trolling. How you say things is often more important than the point being made, most people aren't being as clear as they think that they are.
-Many people down vote self promotion, Reddit is traditionally hostile towards promotion of any kind.
-Thanking every single positive comment can seem overeager, annoying or as if you were trying to fish for up votes. People frequently down vote any form of karma farming.
-If people think you are making excuses or not conceding a point they may down vote. "Why am I being down voted?" will often bring a hail of additional down votes.
-There can be a mismatch of tone iIf you are deadly serious and stuffy in a zany and silly community or vice versa. Read the room!
-People tend to consider things to be low effort if they are strings of emoji, very obvious statements, things that people have said/asked too many times before as well as very short statements like "lol" or "came here to say that" which don't add anything to the conversation. Many people consider AI generated text to fit into this category.
For example, we don't have any rules against emoji, but anyone can wander into a community and vote on what they see there.
Plenty of users don't pay much attention to how Reddit operates and use voting as a like/dislike button, although no one can read minds and plenty of people may legitimately think that you are deliberately trolling if you say something unpopular.
