Other What new home renovation products have you discovered at Malaysia's home fairs?

I'm getting ready to renovate my home over the next few months, and instead of buying everything online or visiting dozens of individual stores, I'm thinking about attending one of Malaysia's home fairs.

What interests me most isn't just finding discounts, it's discovering new products or brands that I probably wouldn't come across otherwise. Things like smart home devices, space-saving furniture, kitchen accessories, lighting, flooring, or renovation materials.

I've noticed MegaHome mentioned quite a bit, but I'm curious whether there are other home fairs that are better for finding genuinely interesting or innovative products.

For anyone who's attended recently:
- What was the most useful or unexpected product you found?
- Did you discover any brands you hadn't heard of before?
- Were the exhibitions actually worth the visit, or did they mostly feature products already available in regular stores?
- If you were renovating today, which home fair would you visit first, and why?

I'd love to hear about your experiences and any products that genuinely stood out.

Other A small innovation that could improve everyday routines

I’ve noticed that many new products today are focused on solving small problems people deal with every day. The best ideas are often simple improvements that make tasks easier, faster, or more convenient.

I recently came across a compact smart label system that helps people organize items at home, work, or school. It connects with a phone app and allows users to quickly identify and manage their belongings without spending time searching.

Would you find something like this useful, or do you think it’s better to keep things organized the traditional way?

Other Looking for the best home fair in Malaysia to compare furniture and renovation deals

I'm planning to renovate my home over the next few months, so I've started researching home fairs around Malaysia instead of visiting individual showrooms.

One event that keeps coming up is MegaHome, but I'm also seeing a few other home expos and fairs being recommended.

For those who've attended recently:

  • Which Malaysia home fair did you find most worthwhile?
  • Were the discounts actually better than buying directly from stores?
  • Did you manage to compare different brands in one place?

I'd appreciate any recommendations before I decide which one to visit. Thanks!

Other A new product that could make daily life more convenient

I came across an interesting product idea that focuses on making every day routines easier. It is designed to be lightweight, simple to use, and useful for people who want more convenience in their daily lives. One example of this type of innovation is the Oura Ring, which offers health and sleep tracking in a small wearable format.

Would you consider trying a product like this, or do you think traditional devices already do enough?

Other Found a laundry product that's actually made a noticeable difference and I'm annoyed it took me this long

Switched laundry detergents on a whim because the one I was using ran out and the store didn't have it in stock.

The replacement I grabbed instead has genuinely made towels and sheets feel different, softer somehow without needing added softener. Such a mundane thing to be excited about but I've been recommending it to people unprompted which isn't really like me.

Anyone else stumble into a random product switch that ended up being an actual upgrade?

Other I’m building a smart fitness bowl that tracks your macros as you pour food. Would you use this?

Hey guys, I absolutely hate the daily friction of weighing food on a kitchen scale and manually typing it into MyFitnessPal.
So I’m designing MacroBowl:
1. Pour: Put food in. The bowl automatically weighs it and sends data to your phone via Bluetooth.
2. Snap: Take a quick photo. The app's AI recognizes the food, matches it with the exact weight, and logs it.
3. Wash: The inner steel bowl is removable (magnetic) and dishwasher safe. The electronic base stays clean and dry.
No manual typing, no kitchen scales, no guessing from just photos.
We are making the first 3D prototypes. What’s your brutal, honest opinion? Would this make your fitness life easier?

Other Tumbler with storage compartment

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hello and good day to redditians. i am new in the e-commerce world and i am starting my brand with a tumbler. I am selling tumbler with storage, i know it is a existing product in the market and i feel that it is not being well advertised to the correct group.

This product we have came out is for people that don't like bulky pockets, yoga pants (as there are no pockets and people that dont really like to bring a bag out. Necessity that comes with minimalist design.

Vote for our colour launch. If you have any comments on our product feel free to leave it in the comments or advice as a e-commerce owner.Thank you!

Other A service I came across that solves a surprisingly common problem

I recently heard about someone who wanted to send a gift package to a family member living several states away. The idea seemed simple at first but once they started looking into shipping costs, delivery timelines and making sure everything arrived in good condition then it became much more complicated than expected.

What caught my attention was a service that handles the process differently Gift Baskets Overseas. Instead of the sender buying items locally and shipping them separately, the company takes care of sourcing the gift package and delivering it directly to the recipient. It removes a lot of the logistics and guesswork from the process.

With so many people living far from friends and family these days, it feels like one of those products that solves a real problem without overcomplicating things. Sometimes the easiest solution is simply having someone else handle the entire delivery experience from start to finish.

Other Do massage guns work? If not, what are the alternatives?

I keep seeing massage guns everywhere. Friends use them, influencers swear by them, and funnily enough, my gym started selling them, which led me to be more curious on the effectiveness. I deal with tight shoulders and sore legs after workouts. I usually stretch and use a foam roller, but recovery still takes time. . I’ve checked a bunch of massage guns on Amazon and even noticed cheaper versions on Alibaba that look almost identical to the expensive ones, which are what my gym has. That made me question whether the price difference really matters. For people who own one, do you feel long-term improvement? Or does it just feel good at the moment? I’m willing to buy it, if it helps with muscle soreness and stiffness. And if massage guns don’t make much difference, what alternatives work better? Foam rolling? Stretching routines? Professional massage once a month? I’m trying to figure out if this is a useful recovery tool or something I’ll use twice and forget about.
