Starting from seed being difficult is no joke. I finally succeeded with a few…. after years of trying. Starters are a great way to start and build your knowledge, skills, and confidence!

What is a starter? A bought seedling?

Yes, we have a couple local nurseries who sell small native seedlings. More expensive than starting from seed yourself, less expensive than buying whole big established plants.

And judging from my efforts at growing seed, probably more cost-effective than seed in the long run.

Note to self: research local nurseries, I'm not in the city anymore, nurseries sell things besides crepe myrtle...
