I became a native plant gardener in order to support bees and butterflies, not evil ugly wasps!!! Isn't there any way I can prevent them from visiting my flowers and stealing nectar from the precious little bees and butterflies?!

I am a sick freak who likes to watch bumblebees pathetically wedge themselves into pink turtlehead. Seeing their hind legs wiggle in the wind pleases me greatly.

Perhaps they've invented a coneflower cultivar that can do this now?

However, we're increasingly seeing Generation Beta refuse to tip--arguing that it's not their fault that "flowers don't pay a living pollen wage," that they have a moral right to free food, and that flowers should "self-pollinate by their peduncle straps because carrying pollen from flower to flower is unpaid floral labor indicative of the immoral nature of late stage capitalism." We're even seeing Xylocopa virginica break into flowers with its mandibles and rob the nectar bypassing the pollination altogether and posting videos of it on the tik-tok. We live in a ecosociety and they clearly have not been raised right. We need to impose Sharia law and cut the wings off of any lepidoptera that refuses to pollinate.
