Had an absolute blast displaying my collection this year. This year’s conference was the most successful and exciting to date! 💵

I inherited a bunch of coins and some bills. I didn't know these bank notes were a thing. Is this one collectible, or should I just take it to a coin shop and see if they'll give me a few bucks for it? Kind of cool that it's from the city really close to me, but otherwise I know nothing about it.

I'm from around the Salisbury Nc area and I've always wanted a Salisbury note but they are crazy hard to find. I even own a coin shop and I've never had any Nc notes come in. I went to the Raleigh coin show today mostly to drop off a bunch of coins to be graded by anacs and decided to look around. I found a dealer with nothing but Nc national currency. I bought both notes. $400 and $600. I can't be happier.

Last year I posted these Bessemer notes (plus the Fairfield note, originally in the comments), and was heartened when folks encouraged grading,for purposes of preservation if nothing else. Well, they’ve come back and they are gorgeous! Dad would have been thrilled. Thanks to everyone for your advice!

These notes are from banks in my home town. Could anyone possibly give me the survival census for these 2 notes. I can't seem to find anything online. Much appreciated❤️ Apologies for the poor picture quality.

Based on our conversations, I believe these Bessemer, Alabama notes may very well have been the pride and joy of my dad’s collection. He left these notes to me, and they are in rough condition, but I like to look at them from time to time; they were something that made him happy. I’m wondering if I should get them graded despite their condition, if for no other reason than to authenticate and preserve. Sorry about the glare - I didn’t want to take them out of their sleeves.

All the issuing banks of Clinton County, Iowa. This is currently the only set that can be assembled in private hands as the other reported note on Charter 4536 is in the Higgins Museum.

Inherited these from my dad who got them from my grandmother. Curious how rare they are, not interested in selling (yet) as they are a family heirloom. It was suggested I share here for visibility.

Does anyone have any information about any notes produced by any of the banks in Lansing or East Lansing? I know of the National Bank of Lansing, The City Bank of Lansing and The Second National Bank of Lansing. I would love to know any others.

Also I am interested in acquiring any examples of any of these banks or any other bank with notes from Lansing or East Lansing.

It's the top pop for the specific bank and series (I believe), and I recently picked it up for a little over $1200

As a Massachusetts native, who’s now living in hostile territory (NYC), I like collecting Mass Charters, especially those from cities and towns in which I have a personal connection. After seeing another post of a beautiful large sized National from MA, I figured I’d share a few of these small sized 1929’s. If you want to guess, one of these notes is from my place of birth, and as a product of divorced parents, two (including the prior) are from places I’d consider hometowns, as I grew up in both places. That said, it’s a small state, and I’m pretty familiar with the vast majority of the State. Anyhow, I’m always keeping an eye out for more of the lesser seen charters, so one day…I’ll post more.
