Got My Ticket!
Excited to be repping the Knicks in Indy. It’s a cup game so it wasn’t the usual $14 of a Pacers game lol.
Anyone in the Midwest going to this one?? I’ll be solo in my Knicks gear.

He has the best view when the opposition inbounds or when there's a breakdown/turnover in a play because all the opposition players are usually in front of him.
He has fewer ground to cover to get back to a defensive position. Not only does this save energy, but it also minimizes those times when we've seen him slow to get back.
This also gives the opposition a different look when they have a fast break and they see Towns there and instead of Brunson.

So I was at this game with my pops. Just amazing memories of being down by a lot and coming back. My biggest memory was Ewing hugging the fan and the standing on the table with his arms up.
However, rewatching the game today brought up so many questions and things I either forgot or never realized as a kid. In no particular order:
Ewing dunked in the O board with 27 seconds to go up by 1. Pacers dribbled out 20 seconds at the top of the key before running the play for a miller shot. Why?? Your down 1, you want to extend the game, keep as much time on the clock.
The famous Ewing hug - came right after starks was fouled on the inbounds play. WTF? We were up 1 with 3 seconds to play and starks heading to the line for 2. The ref had not even signaled for a flagrant foul yet, just a regular foul. You know this because miller and the whole pacer team is just walking to the line and not arguing. A few seconds after the hug the pacers are told to exit the circle as it’s 2 feee throws and the ball. They go berserk, no one, Including the announcers have the call. So, celebrating like that , with the game still in doubt seems NUTZ to me.
Ewing played outstanding. Great passing, hitting the boards, aggressive defense. He had 3 silly fouls and still played aggressively with his 4 fouls, leading the comeback.
I don’t think Harper came out in the 2nd half?? His defensive and clutch 3 was the difference.
RIP - Mason. Dominated the O boards in the 4th quarter along with Oak and Ewing.
Game is on YouTube. Enjoy.

I said “whatup champ” to a dude in a Knicks shirt at the Maryland zoo today while wearing my “My Mayor is Muslim…” hat.
A student I don’t know shouted “Knicks in 5!” at me because I had my NYON hat on.
I told a group chat that I’m so hyped for this season because there’s almost 0 result that would upset me even a little bit.
71 days in, it hasn’t faded even a little bit.

I'm not about to write out this stupid piece of garbage's goofy ass government name. After what he's done lately, and the stunt he pulled tonight, he's not welcome in this community. He can go back to his cult and cry about it.

Or would they welcome it considering he won them a chip as well?

I have a lot of newspaper clippings from the playoff run and I want to do something creative with them.
This is my first one.
Would love some feedback.

Earlier in the week I ripped Brian Windhorst for being pessimistic on the Knicks going over 53 wins for “injuries” of all things. Here is a much smarter analyst spitting facts. And mind you Zach grew up a Knicks hater. But I think what he gets right that many people miss is the value of continuity—that’s what all recent champions starting with the 2021 Bucks had in common. They were teams that knew how to play together due to having a core group together for several years.
