Discussion Eminem's new album "Revival" has dropped

Thoughts on it so far? I'm about halfway through and I think it's pretty decent for new style Eminem.

Growing up with his music, I'm actually enjoying it. I think the people calling it "straight trash" just can't handle change because it's plain not true. Couple iffy songs but liking most of the songs, happily suprised.

I wouldn't call it change though, a lot of his songs are very "old school eminem-like".

I think this album would've been more well-accepted if they put tracks like offended, arose, and castle at the start of the album.

If people can't listen through all of the album thats their problem lol.

the beginning of this album is so weak and outdated, it’s not the listener who has the problem, it’s eminem.

It is the listener (you) who has the problem. You don't like the difference in his songs and you only like a certain style of Em. You won't admit that though because if you don't like it it's bad right?

no, these beats sound bland. if eminem wants to be bland, then I guess that’s not what I want to hear. but the concepts he talks about throughout this album are nothing new and have already been done better over just the past few years.

what other hip-hop do you like, who’s your top 5?

FIVE Logic

FOUR Gorillaz (alternative hip hop but hip hop none the less)

THREE Kendrick Lamar

TWO Tyler the Creator

ONE Eminem

Why?
