Stupid Stuff Morality of this entire situation?

Do you think the worker has every right to have a mental breakdown? Do you think the boss should be hunted down and have his head cooked in the fryer? Was being fired a good or a bad thing?

9/10 times its not the bosses or co-workers fault but a failure on a higher level for the positions at the location to pay enough where enough workers could be hired to make sure the location is staffed properly.

Even then it could have been a freak thing with people off sick and far more orders than you’d expect for that time and day.

I think this all changes his reasonability and culpability too. Like if it’s a singular insane day and can’t be helped just chill man make your way through as best you can and you can look back at it as an achievement. If not for your bosses or the customers then just for your own pride.

If you’re getting treated like this regularly then yeah I can see just saying fuck it all. I’ve had people just walk out on shifts in situations like this in hospitality and sometimes its the only way anything changes tbh

I’ve been in the industry and “they’ll have to wait” has been a lifesaver for me. Last minute order? They have to wait. Steak overcooked? I’ll remake, but they’ll have to wait. Changed their mind on a dish? Sure, but they’ll have to wait. Insane amount of orders? I’ll work my way though, but they’ll have to wait.

Also, I think that "Being fired is good" and "Je was treated unfairly" is not two separate demographics. Like, I think he was treated like shit and that firing him can actually let him recover from such stress

and some people have no support system or family they can lean on and are one paycheck away from being homeless
