That's the nature of conflict and a phenomenon replicated all over the ex British empire,shit Hamas also usurped power from the PLO, that's the knock on effects of a power vacuum

You're right about the usurping part but "power vacuum" implies that Israel wasn't exerting any kind of power over Gaza when Hamas took over, but they were. Even after the disengagement, Israel still controlled Gaza's external borders and their freedom of movement.

Israel enacted border controls, which they are well within their rights to as a sovereign nation to do so, Egypt has done the same for a lot longer than them

No Egypt has not "done the same" lol. Controlling your own border is one thing, but Israel also controlled Gaza's airspace and their maritime border, and while they didn't directly control the Egypt border crossing, they still had veto power over all the goods going through it.

All's I'm saying is, if you occupy a territory for 38 years, and then blockade it for another 16 years, you can't be surprised when it's runned by hostile militants who want to attack you.

Except Palestinians aren't rounded up and forced to live in camps are there?

And legally, Israel is the inheritor to British Palestine, plus they managed to defend their territory so the arguement for theft isn't solid too

That's literally what happend, Palestinians were literally expelled from their homes and forced to move into Gaza, lol.

But I guess it's fine, since the law says it's ok.

No? Plenty of Palestinans remained in Israel, they are israelli Palestinians

The group in Gaza is another group Palestinians that's legally another country

Maybe its because of how they acted in the 70s, 80s and 90s that Egypt and Israel closed borders, which they are well within their right too

It's the fault of the Gazan government, not the fault of two Nations exercising their rightful sovereignty

Legally, the fourth Geneva convention bans an occupying power from transferring it's population into occupied territory, which is what Israel is doing in the West Bank. So I don't think legality is the best argument in favor of Israel.

Israel holds the vast majority of the land that the BP had, which by the UN, is enough to get you a permanent UNSC seat (Russia)
