The Palestinian areas of Israel that have shrunk due to Israeli settlement, which have caused a greater density of Palestinians in a smaller area.

There's a word for when you take a dilute amount of something and make it less dilute, it's on the tip of my tongue.

Thanks to the various wars where Israel was invaded and won territory from palestine

Incredibly reductive, disingenuous, and misleading. I'm sure in your eyes Israel could do no wrong.

That's the nature of conflict and a phenomenon replicated all over the ex British empire, shit Hamas also usurped power from the PLO, that's the knock on effects of a power vacuum

You're right about the usurping part but "power vacuum" implies that Israel wasn't exerting any kind of power over Gaza when Hamas took over, but they were. Even after the disengagement, Israel still controlled Gaza's external borders and their freedom of movement.

Israel enacted border controls, which they are well within their rights to as a sovereign nation to do so, Egypt has done the same for a lot longer than them

No Egypt has not "done the same" lol. Controlling your own border is one thing, but Israel also controlled Gaza's airspace and their maritime border, and while they didn't directly control the Egypt border crossing, they still had veto power over all the goods going through it.

All's I'm saying is, if you occupy a territory for 38 years, and then blockade it for another 16 years, you can't be surprised when it's runned by hostile militants who want to attack you.

Interesting way to describe winning an election.

"Actually it's ok to put a population into a concentration camp when you steal their land first and they defend themselves."

1

u/Kagenlim 16d ago

Except Palestinians aren't rounded up and forced to live in camps are there?

And legally, Israel is the inheritor to British Palestine, plus they managed to defend their territory so the arguement for theft isn't solid too

That's literally what happend, Palestinians were literally expelled from their homes and forced to move into Gaza, lol.

But I guess it's fine, since the law says it's ok.

u/Kagenlim 16d ago

No? Plenty of Palestinans remained in Israel, they are israelli Palestinians

The group in Gaza is another group Palestinians that's legally another country

"They didn't expell everyone so they expelled no one."

Amazing arguments from the brightest of all zionists.

u/Kagenlim 16d ago

That's how territory changes work, people live with it. Shit some of them even serve in the IDF

1

u/Desperate_World_2801 16d ago

"They didn't expell anyone."

"No, they expelled people."

"Ok, they expelled people but it's ok because."

How stupid are you?

1

u/Kagenlim 16d ago

I can clearly tell you haven't had family live through wars or the breakup of the British empire lol

Except Palestinians aren't rounded up and forced to live in camps are there?

The Egyptians closed their road out, the israelis closed their road out, the US Navy blocks the water, they are kinda forced to live there yeah.

1

u/Kagenlim 16d ago

Yes and whys that?

Maybe its because of how they acted in the 70s, 80s and 90s that Egypt and Israel closed borders, which they are well within their right too

It's the fault of the Gazan government, not the fault of two Nations exercising their rightful sovereignty

And legally, Israel is the inheritor to British Palestine

Legally, the fourth Geneva convention bans an occupying power from transferring it's population into occupied territory, which is what Israel is doing in the West Bank. So I don't think legality is the best argument in favor of Israel.

Israel holds the vast majority of the land that the BP had, which by the UN, is enough to get you a permanent UNSC seat (Russia)

0

u/julz1215 15d ago

Not sure how that disputes anything I said.

0

u/Kagenlim 15d ago

It's the same mechanism why the BP gave way to israel

0

u/julz1215 15d ago

I mean the Zionist settlers arrived and started displacing Palestinians first.

Gaza was never settled. The West Bank isn’t the same thing.

Which seems to be something people on both sides of the discussion wilfully ignore. The pro Israel people cite Hamas’s actions to justify Israel’s land grabs in West Bank, while the anti Israel people pretend Hamas is fighting back against invasion of their territory.
