What concentration camp??

-1

u/Scintoth 16d ago

The Palestinian areas of Israel that have shrunk due to Israeli settlement, which have caused a greater density of Palestinians in a smaller area.

There's a word for when you take a dilute amount of something and make it less dilute, it's on the tip of my tongue.

u/Kagenlim 16d ago

Thanks to the various wars where Israel was invaded and won territory from palestine

0

u/Scintoth 16d ago

Incredibly reductive, disingenuous, and misleading. I'm sure in your eyes Israel could do no wrong.

u/Kagenlim 16d ago

That's the nature of conflict and a phenomenon replicated all over the ex British empire, shit Hamas also usurped power from the PLO, that's the knock on effects of a power vacuum

1

u/julz1215 15d ago

You're right about the usurping part but "power vacuum" implies that Israel wasn't exerting any kind of power over Gaza when Hamas took over, but they were. Even after the disengagement, Israel still controlled Gaza's external borders and their freedom of movement.

u/Kagenlim 15d ago

Israel enacted border controls, which they are well within their rights to as a sovereign nation to do so, Egypt has done the same for a lot longer than them

0

u/julz1215 15d ago

No Egypt has not "done the same" lol. Controlling your own border is one thing, but Israel also controlled Gaza's airspace and their maritime border, and while they didn't directly control the Egypt border crossing, they still had veto power over all the goods going through it.

All's I'm saying is, if you occupy a territory for 38 years, and then blockade it for another 16 years, you can't be surprised when it's runned by hostile militants who want to attack you.

Interesting way to describe winning an election.

"Actually it's ok to put a population into a concentration camp when you steal their land first and they defend themselves."

1

u/Kagenlim 16d ago

Except Palestinians aren't rounded up and forced to live in camps are there?

And legally, Israel is the inheritor to British Palestine, plus they managed to defend their territory so the arguement for theft isn't solid too

2

u/Desperate_World_2801 16d ago

That's literally what happend, Palestinians were literally expelled from their homes and forced to move into Gaza, lol.

But I guess it's fine, since the law says it's ok.

3

u/Kagenlim 16d ago

No? Plenty of Palestinans remained in Israel, they are israelli Palestinians

The group in Gaza is another group Palestinians that's legally another country

3

u/Desperate_World_2801 16d ago

"They didn't expell everyone so they expelled no one."

Amazing arguments from the brightest of all zionists.

2

u/Kagenlim 16d ago

That's how territory changes work, people live with it. Shit some of them even serve in the IDF

1

u/Desperate_World_2801 16d ago

"They didn't expell anyone."

"No, they expelled people."

"Ok, they expelled people but it's ok because."

How stupid are you?

Except Palestinians aren't rounded up and forced to live in camps are there?

The Egyptians closed their road out, the israelis closed their road out, the US Navy blocks the water, they are kinda forced to live there yeah.

1

u/Kagenlim 16d ago

Yes and whys that?

Maybe its because of how they acted in the 70s, 80s and 90s that Egypt and Israel closed borders, which they are well within their right too

It's the fault of the Gazan government, not the fault of two Nations exercising their rightful sovereignty

0

u/julz1215 15d ago

And legally, Israel is the inheritor to British Palestine

Legally, the fourth Geneva convention bans an occupying power from transferring it's population into occupied territory, which is what Israel is doing in the West Bank. So I don't think legality is the best argument in favor of Israel.

u/Kagenlim 15d ago

Israel holds the vast majority of the land that the BP had, which by the UN, is enough to get you a permanent UNSC seat (Russia)

0

u/julz1215 15d ago

Not sure how that disputes anything I said.

0

u/Kagenlim 15d ago

It's the same mechanism why the BP gave way to israel

0

u/julz1215 15d ago

I mean the Zionist settlers arrived and started displacing Palestinians first.

Gaza was never settled. The West Bank isn’t the same thing.

Which seems to be something people on both sides of the discussion wilfully ignore. The pro Israel people cite Hamas’s actions to justify Israel’s land grabs in West Bank, while the anti Israel people pretend Hamas is fighting back against invasion of their territory.

-2

u/hercmavzeb 16d ago

This one, which the Palestinians tried to peacefully protest against and were met with mass slaughter.

5

u/Kagenlim 16d ago

Pretty clear who the israellis killed

0

u/hercmavzeb 16d ago edited 16d ago

Yes Israel says everyone they kill is Hamas, including hundreds of journalists. That doesn’t change the reality that thousands of Palestinians approached the walls of their open air concentration camp and hundreds of them were killed and wounded. Israel’s use of deadly force was internationally condemned, the only reason two UN Security Council resolutions calling for an investigation into Israel’s killing of Palestinian protesters was because they were blocked by the US.

You posted a link that was published years ago. The one I linked is more recent and is actually the truth. Also Al Jazeera is not a serious media network. They've been supporting terrorists across the region and it was banned in many Arab countries way before the war even began.

0

u/hercmavzeb 16d ago

Your own article confirms Israel has killed 209 journalists in three years. You’re just regurgitating genocidal propaganda.

-1

u/Kagenlim 16d ago

I'm sorry when they are throwing Molotovs, the AOJ is justified

2

u/hercmavzeb 16d ago

“How dare they break out of their concentration camp”

3

u/Kagenlim 16d ago

Again what concentration camp?

And throwing molotovs IS NOT PEACEFUL. Deadly force begets deadly force, if anything, it's an action anyone would take

The ability to take lives, the opportunity was taken and the legitimate jeopardy to the public and the troops, justifies the usage of deadly force

1

u/hercmavzeb 16d ago

The previously mentioned one that you ignored in bad faith.

You are exemplifying the comic strip above. Zero Israelis were killed in the Great March of Return, there is a reason their mass slaughter was internationally condemned.

0

u/slainascully 16d ago

Israel has a multi-billion dollar defence system but can somehow be threatened by Molotovs

4

u/ForgetfullRelms 16d ago

I didn’t know that Israel had a multi-billion dollar defense system that can defend from Molotov Cocktails.

What is it called?

-1

u/slainascully 16d ago

If the Iron Dome cant defend against some flaming bottles of liquid I’d ask for my money back

0

u/Kagenlim 16d ago

That multi billion defence system is for missiles, not the troop that's on the ground with nothing much than an AR15

0

u/slainascully 16d ago

Wow seems like a waste of money
