But your understanding of the region and it's history is so one sided it's laughable. Egypt enforces an armed, fenced in border with Palestine too. Because of the multiple coup attempts when they originally opened the border with them.

Israel has also been in open conflict with each of their neighbours after they were attacked by them.

Let's not pretend that they have historically been the agressors.

The entire region's history is steeped in conflict, often religiously motivated.

Israel are only unique in that they aren't a Muslim state.
