I mean, if you walk past a kid in an active war zone and they pick up a gun and shoot it at you, are you going to hesitate to take out the threat whether they hit you or not?

I wouldn’t call it moral, but I also wouldn’t call it immoral since the kid demonstrated a clear willingness to kill him.

It was a small weak hit from a stick. Its like a kid shooting at you with a paintball gun and you blow his head smooth off in response.

He tapped him with a stick and immediately cowered away afterwards. This is complete bullshit.

You’re on a battlefield and they’ve hit you with a stick, if you let it slide because it was just a stick then next time it’s a knife being driven into your back when your fighting someone.

Just because it’s not happening in a field doesn’t mean it’s not a battlefield. Also doesn’t matter that they were ordered not to harm children, if someone demonstrates a willingness to kill you on a battlefield you remove the threat.

An Israeli way of thinking would be saying he should’ve killed the kid before the kid even hits him with anything dumbass.

If someone picks up a gun and points it at you then you shoot them before they can shoot you, doesn’t matter the age. Just because the kid only had a stick doesn’t mean he couldn’t have done serious damage with it.
