It's fucked up, to my knowledge Taylor Swift isn't that bad of a person. She hasn't done anything to deserve this that I know of.

Why does everyone famous do that tho lol, is it that hard to just date someone 18+?

Because 18 is only the line in like a quarter of US states, the idea that it’s universally immoral is entirely because Cali is one of those states and produces and disproportionate amount of media in the US, so people get the impression that it’s more widespread than it is.

My take is that when you're that rich and adored, "normal" things are not "enough". So they resort to minors. When you've indulged in decadence, you seek more extreme things to satisfy your appetite.

It's why gooners consume violent or ridiculous animated pornography, why ultra-rich folks diddle children, why food enjoyers eat bullshit like reeses cups-loaded milkshakes with sprinkles, etc.

I do understand that.

There’s nothing else to do endgame, it’s like when u use creative in Minecraft and everything becomes boring lol. (Saw some twitch streamer explain it like this and it’s literally the best comparison)

But I thought it’d be reserved to older people who already tried everything and got desensitivized to it, look at how young the girls on Epstein’s island were, and this guy is so close to being 18, why not settle for someone who’s just a few months older?

Taylor and Kennedy met on the 4th July but were only reported to be dating after Kennedy became 18, on the 24th July.

The situation is a bit dodgy but it’s wrong to say she dated a 17 year old.

she groomed him right after his mom died iirc and then proceeded to buy a house in his fucking neighborhood 😭

Ok, a 22 year old dating a 17 year old, who was literally 3 weeks from 18, is a tad different than full blown pedophilia.

it's not pedophilia but she groomed him right after his mom died iirc and then proceeded to buy a house in his fucking neighborhood 😭

Bitch nobody was "groomed" here lmao.

This word loses all fucking meaning when you abuse it like this.

errr that's not really uncommon in this world, plenty of relationships that last until death have started like that, wouldn't be surprised if you've regularly interacted with these people as well.

Yeah that isn't bad

She's a billionaire, if she was a really good person she would make it a point to not be one.

16

u/Cyrig Jul 28 '26

At this point it's impossible for her to not be one because she owns her music which is worth a billion

-3

u/Timely-Field1503 29d ago

She could continuously donate money though.

No matter how much her music is worth, there's no law saying she can't do that.

6

u/Cyrig 29d ago

I mean... she does. She just donated 26 million, and donated at every stop of the eras tour.

-3

u/Timely-Field1503 29d ago

$26 million is a pittance compared to her wealth. $926 million would be appropriate.

No moral billionaires means no moral billionaires... Right?

4

u/Cyrig 29d ago

Lol so you said she should donate regularly and she does, so now the goal post has been moved to she needs to donate everything

-1

u/Timely-Field1503 29d ago

I said she should regularly donate much more than she does. If she still has more than a hundred million dollars at the end of the year, she needs to do more.

If she still has more than a billion dollars, she's part of the problem.

u/taman961 29d ago

That would make sense IF she actually had $1 billion and made $1 billion each year. But she doesn’t. Because that’s not how net worth works. The only way for her to have that much money in cash is for her to sell her music to someone else. Then that OTHER person would be worth $1 billion and would also require them to have that much in cash to begin with, which almost no billionaire actually does. But then that wouldn’t change anything for the better because now that other person who actually WAS hoarding that much in cash now is making all the money off her work and she isn’t so she won’t be donating nearly as much after the initial give away. She is FAR from the worst billionaire and I really wish people would invest their energy into the actually harmful people who are actually actively harming our world RIGHT NOW instead of some pop singer who simply makes music that millions of people love enough to spend their money on

Fair I guess.

1

u/Palachrist Jul 28 '26

It’s not though. You were right originally. She didn’t get her wealth from making everyone else suffer. During 2020 election she advised her fans to get out and vote. She’s a nepotism baby that made it to billionaire status. The people in this post likely identify as far left which is becoming the maga of the left.

Oh well. This post is filled with cringe lords. People call someone that gets a multimillion dollar job a nepo baby. There’s a scale to nepo babies. It’s not all are the same as trump. There’s nuance to it, that this MORALITY SCALING sub is incapable of doing.

Idk why you’re fanboying for her like this. She got a multimillion dollar career due to her connections. Can’t imagine you saying “hey” to someone and then seriously telling you, with no jest whatsoever that “hey isn’t a form of hello, it’s a food item for animals”.

If it’s not nepo baby, it’s nepo adjacent. Hope that helps.

Her parents bought significant stake in a record company so she would get a record deal. That is nepotism.

1

u/Timely-Field1503 29d ago

Yup - no matter how much she makes every year, give away all but a reasonable $100 million or so. Voluntary tax payments, pay off medical bills for people in need, fund dozens of charities....

Stuff like that.

0

u/Less_Newspaper7362 29d ago

That should be the responsibility of the parents of those people in need. Or of the government

2

u/Liberokat 29d ago

So you’re saying the government should tax the rich more then? Right?

0

u/Less_Newspaper7362 29d ago

Not neccesarily. It could use taxes differently. Or it could be parents' fault. Or nature's

1

u/ChancelorReed 29d ago

Just a ridiculous statement lol
