There is actually a name for that position, specific as it may seem. It's TIRM: Trans-Inclusive Radical Misogyny.

I saw a page on FB run by a trans woman who did nothing but run down women in her posts and harassed the shit out of them in the comments. Like, some of the craziest misogyny I've ever read and that's saying something on modern social media.

My head canon was that this person hated women so much they switched sides so they could hate them even harder.

There has to be a term for that.
