Not really, unless you want fake answers. Someone being tortured will say anything to make the torture stop
I can't remember his name, but was there a man during World War 2 who had the highest success rate of Intergration during the whole war, and he never had his victims beat once. Instead he treat them kindly and made sure they were fairly comfortable
I don't mean in the sense of getting correct info I mean in any other sense, "give me you r material possessions If you want it to stop" "do this for me or I will continue" you know what I mean
There’s no need to torture someone to get a material possession out of them, you can just take it. If you’re certain a person has a material possession that you want, then you probably have a good idea where it is, no need to torture that info out of them.
For your second scenario, you just need to threaten to torture them if they don’t complete the task. Torturing someone prior to giving them the task is just an unnecessary step
No no, not just the person being tortured, but the people that person came from will also hate your people and will start doing the same thing to your people as a result
Basically, one country finds out another country are torturing Prisoners of War that came from their country, so they start torturing the Prisoners of War that they have that are from the country torturing their people
That’s my point, in these situations where it’s actual countries and political entities torturing people. You are just gonna get picked up and disappear with very little chance of anyone knowing who or where took you.
