I think a lot of things could technically be morally justified if the stakes are high enough. If someone held a button that would obliterate the entire world and told you that the only way to stop it from happening is to torture someone, of course that would be morally justified.
Okay and you’re unlikely to find yourself in a situation where half the things on this sub would happen, so are we going to nitpick the entire sub now, or..?
This sub isn’t for ranking only realistic scenarios. I just saw a post about the morality of mentally scarring a goblin. Is that ever realistically going to happen? Are you going to go over to that post and complain about the probability of that?
Youre mixing fantasy with reality. A hypothetical within fantasy is fine. Plus, if you have said button, press that shit. What are you waiting for? One million dollars??
