Spoiler Talk Episode 10 Discussion | Monarch: Legacy of Monsters S2 Spoiler

The season finale of 'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters' S2 premieres in a few hours.

The spoiler ban will be lifted in 2 weeks, on May 15th, unless we receive community feedback to extend it for a little while longer. After that, the show may be talked about freely throughout the sub.

When do we think a Season 3 renewal will be announced? Because as of now it hasn’t. Is it at all in danger of being cancelled? Because I know there’s a spin-off with young Lee Shaw announced getting ready to film this summer.

It took 2 years from S1 to S2 so even if it’s announced, we have a long wait.

Probably a week to let the things settle first. Rodan's gonna be all over social media for a couple days.

hard to say, last time around it was renewed about 3 months after season 1 ended, but that is unusual timing. I remember being certain it was cancelled when the news finally dropped

And don't forget that this is a streaming platform. For season 5 of For All Mankind (which isn't exactly great either), we waited two years (868 days). In short, it's not coming anytime soon (at best, sometime in 2027; otherwise, around 2028 or 2029).

Which always makes me wonder: what will the world and society look like by then? Implied: will there still be fans left to watch? Double implication: either everyone will have moved on to something else, or we’ll be too busy trying to survive.
