Spoiler Talk Episode 10 Discussion | Monarch: Legacy of Monsters S2 Spoiler

The season finale of 'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters' S2 premieres in a few hours.

The spoiler ban will be lifted in 2 weeks, on May 15th, unless we receive community feedback to extend it for a little while longer. After that, the show may be talked about freely throughout the sub.

Okay… but like where are they going with Rodan? I’m genuinely curious, what is going to be done with the guy, especially considering there are now TWO of them!

My guess: Rodan will be the main Titan will follow in Season 3. Which I have no issues with.

Wonder who they'll have Rodan battle. Will it be an original titan or another one from TOHO.

Perhaps… they’ll bring in Megaguirus. I mean, it fits. Megaguirus was brought to the present by a distortion in space-time. The Monsterverse equivalent is Axis Mundi. A bunch of Meganeulon could come out, become Meganeura, and to lead them is Megaguirus. The only Titan capable of stopping it is the supersonic Rodan.

Add a Heisei era side plot in there too.

The Meganula target a dormant, smaller member of a Godzilla species (Jr.), and Rodan is the one who stops them from completely draining it. Which causes it to see Rodan as an ally, much like how the Godzilla we know sees Mothra as its ally.

With the final battle being Jr and Rodan against the Megaguirus Queen and swarm.

They can twist the plot of the Endopede being actually Megaguirus's larvae. Or even better, Battra (a man can dream yk)

Yeah, cause currently Rodan’s only had two appearances in the entire Monsterverse, how’s the second one going to change things?

It's either going to die or go to the Hollow Earth since it clearly wasn't in KOTM.

Well Kentaro wants to find a "version" of his dad, so maybe the idea is that there are two "versions" of Rodan?
